“The Sudanese Organizations Forum chairperson calls for an urgent response to the floods affected areas”
The Sudanese Organizations Forum launched an urgent appeal for national and international organizations to intervene for helping those affected by the floods in the states of River Nile, White Nile and Blue Nile.
The head of the Sudanese Organizations Forum, Ibrahim Modi, said that there are tens of thousands of people affected by torrential rains and floods this year, most of them have lost housing and food and are living in the open, especially in the Nile River.
Modi stressed that most citizens need water and food, in addition to health education programs and providing the necessities of life
He praised the efforts made by the organizations so far and calls for more aid and urgent humanitarian interventions in those areas.
